Thai Basil Chili Tofu
Ingredients
- 400g firm tofu, cubed
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Press the tofu between paper towels to remove excess moisture. Cut it into cubes.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add tofu cubes and cook until lightly browned on all sides.
- Stir in sliced bell pepper and cook for a few minutes until slightly tender.
- Add soy sauce, chili sauce, and brown sugar. Mix well.
- Season with salt according to taste.
