Teriyaki Tofu Lettuce Wraps


  • 1 block firm tofu, drained and pressed
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • Lettuce leaves, for wrapping
  • Optional toppings: sliced green onions, sesame seeds


  1. Prepare the tofu by pressing it to remove excess moisture, then cut it into small cubes.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey or maple syrup, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Add tofu cubes to the marinade and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the marinated tofu cubes. Cook until golden and slightly caramelized.
  5. Remove tofu from the skillet and assemble the lettuce wraps by placing tofu inside lettuce leaves.
  6. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired. Serve and enjoy!
