Teriyaki Tofu Bowl


  • 1 block of firm tofu, cubed
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch dissolved in 2 tablespoons water
  • Cooked rice for serving
  • Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish


  1. Press the tofu to remove excess water, then cut it into cubes.
  2. In a large pan, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add tofu cubes and cook until golden brown on all sides.
  3. Add broccoli, bell pepper, and carrot to the pan. Sauté until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  4. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, maple syrup, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger. Pour the sauce over the tofu and vegetables, stirring to coat evenly.
  5. Add the cornstarch mixture to the pan, stirring continuously until the sauce thickens.
  6. Serve the Teriyaki Tofu over cooked rice, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.
