Teriyaki Glazed Seitan Stir-fry


  • 1 pound seitan, sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • Cooked white rice, for serving
  • Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish


  1. Heat sesame oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add sliced seitan and stir-fry until golden brown.
  3. Add garlic, broccoli, red bell pepper, and carrot. Stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, maple syrup, cornstarch, and water to make the sauce.
  5. Pour the sauce over the stir-fry and toss until everything is well coated and heated through.
