Tangy Tamarind Tofu Stir-fry
- 1 block of firm tofu, pressed and cubed
- 2 tablespoons tamarind paste
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup snow peas
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Cooked rice, for serving
- Toasted sesame seeds for garnish
- In a bowl, mix tamarind paste, soy sauce, maple syrup, and sesame oil. Set aside.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add a bit of oil and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add tofu cubes to the skillet and cook until golden brown on all sides.
- Add bell pepper and snow peas, cooking until slightly tender.
