Sesame Soy Marinated Tofu Wraps


  • 1 package firm tofu, pressed and sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cup cucumber, julienned
  • 4 large whole-grain tortillas
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish


  1. Combine soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, maple syrup, and sesame seeds in a bowl to create the marinade.
  2. Place sliced tofu in a shallow dish and pour half of the marinade over it. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Cook marinated tofu slices until golden brown on each side.
  4. Warm tortillas and assemble wraps by placing tofu slices, shredded carrots, and julienned cucumber on each tortilla.
  5. Drizzle remaining marinade over the fillings, garnish with fresh cilantro, and fold the wraps.
