Sesame Orange Glazed Chicken


  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • Cooked white rice (for serving)


  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, orange juice, honey, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
  2. Place chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag and pour half of the marinade over them. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Remove chicken from the marinade and grill for 6-7 minutes per side or until cooked through.
  5. While grilling, heat the remaining marinade in a small saucepan until it thickens to a glaze consistency.
  6. Brush the glaze over the grilled chicken during the last few minutes of cooking.
  7. Sprinkle sesame seeds and sliced green onions on top for garnish.
  8. Serve the Sesame Orange Glazed Chicken over cooked white rice.
