  • 1 cup quinoa, cooked and cooled
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cucumber, diced
  • 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Cook quinoa according to package instructions and let it cool.
  2. In a large bowl, combine quinoa, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and cilantro.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together sesame seeds, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, honey, and fresh ginger.
  4. Pour the dressing over the quinoa mixture and toss until well combined.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  7. Sprinkle with additional sesame seeds and cilantro before serving, if desired.
