Pesto Mozzarella Chicken Bake
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup basil pesto
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cherry tomatoes for garnish (optional)
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Place the chicken in the baking dish and spread pesto over each chicken breast.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese generously over the top of each breast.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
