- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh thyme for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Place chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure the chicken is evenly coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the chicken breasts from the marinade, letting excess drip off.
- Cook the chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and are nicely caramelized with the glaze.
- Once done, remove from heat and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh thyme if desired.
