  • 1 bunch of fresh asparagus
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Trim the tough ends off the asparagus spears.
  2. In a large pan, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add asparagus to the pan, tossing to coat in the garlic butter.
  5. Drizzle lemon juice and zest over the asparagus, and season with salt and pepper.
