  • 6 large tomatoes, hollowed
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh oregano, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Cut the tops off the tomatoes and carefully scoop out the seeds and pulp.
  2. In a bowl, mix together feta, basil, oregano, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stuff each tomato with the feta mixture, pressing down gently.
  4. Place the stuffed tomatoes on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes or until the tomatoes are tender.
  5. Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
