Grilled Teriyaki Tempeh Bowl


  • 1 package (8 oz) tempeh, sliced
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 cups cooked brown rice
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Marinate the tempeh slices in teriyaki sauce for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add marinated tempeh and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  3. Add sliced bell peppers and broccoli to the skillet. Cook for an additional 5-6 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  4. Divide cooked rice among serving bowls. Top with the grilled teriyaki tempeh and vegetables.
  5. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy!
