Grilled Teriyaki Tempeh Bowl
- 1 package (8 oz) tempeh, sliced
- 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 2 cups cooked brown rice
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Marinate the tempeh slices in teriyaki sauce for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add marinated tempeh and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Add sliced bell peppers and broccoli to the skillet. Cook for an additional 5-6 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Divide cooked rice among serving bowls. Top with the grilled teriyaki tempeh and vegetables.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy!
