  • 1.5 lbs beef sirloin, cut into cubes
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water
  • Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish


  1. Combine soy sauce, ginger, garlic, honey, and sesame oil in a bowl to create the marinade.
  2. Place beef cubes in a resealable bag and pour half of the marinade over them. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread marinated beef cubes onto the soaked skewers.
  5. Grill skewers for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until beef is cooked to your liking.
  6. Brush skewers with the remaining marinade during grilling.
  7. Remove from the grill and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
