Ginger Sesame Glazed Tofu Bowl


  • 1 block of firm tofu, pressed and cubed
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cups cooked brown rice
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, for garnish


  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, maple syrup, grated ginger, and minced garlic.
  3. Place cubed tofu on a baking sheet and pour half of the sauce over the tofu, ensuring it’s well-coated.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until tofu is golden and slightly crispy.
  5. While the tofu is baking, sauté green onions in a pan until softened.
  6. Combine cooked brown rice, baked tofu, sautéed green onions, and the remaining sauce in a bowl.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and serve hot.
