Ingredients

  • 6 large potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 2 cups grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Butter for greasing the baking dish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish with butter.
  2. In a bowl, mix the sliced potatoes, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, half of the Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Layer the potato mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Pour the heavy cream over the potatoes, ensuring it covers the layers.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese on top.
  6. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 40 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
