  • 1 pound of your favorite pasta
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish


  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, sauté the sliced mushrooms in butter until tender.
  3. Stir in the flour to create a roux, then gradually whisk in the milk until smooth and thickened.
  4. Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses until melted.
  5. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Combine the cooked pasta with the creamy mushroom sauce, then transfer to a baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle extra cheese on top and bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) until golden and bubbly.
  8. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
