Citrus Marinated Grilled Tofu
Ingredients
- 1 block extra-firm tofu, pressed and sliced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Zest and juice of 1 lemon
- Zest and juice of 1 orange
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Combine soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, orange zest, orange juice, maple syrup, black pepper, and paprika in a bowl to make the marinade.
- Place tofu slices in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, turning the tofu halfway through.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the marinated tofu slices for 3-4 minutes per side or until grill marks appear.
- Remove from the grill and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
