Caramelized Leek and Gouda Quiche


  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 2 leeks, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup Gouda cheese, shredded
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil


  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust and place it in a greased quiche pan.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced leeks and cook until caramelized.
  4. Sprinkle caramelized leeks and shredded Gouda cheese over the pie crust.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Pour the mixture over the leeks and cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the quiche is set and golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
