Blackened Cajun Tilapia Tacos


  • 4 tilapia fillets
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon blackening seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Lime wedges for serving


  1. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix Cajun seasoning and blackening seasoning.
  3. Brush tilapia fillets with olive oil and generously coat with the seasoning mixture.
  4. Grill tilapia for 3-4 minutes per side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Warm the tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds per side.
  6. Assemble tacos by placing grilled tilapia in the center of each tortilla and topping with lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, and a dollop of sour cream.
  7. Serve with lime wedges on the side for squeezing.
