Basil Lemon Orzo Pasta Salad


  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Cook orzo pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside to cool.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooked orzo, chopped basil, cherry tomatoes, and feta cheese.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the dressing over the orzo mixture and toss until well combined.
  5. Chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
