Almond Crusted Tilapia with Lemon


  • 4 tilapia fillets
  • 1 cup almonds, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Lemon wedges for serving


  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine chopped almonds, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, lemon zest, and chopped parsley.
  3. Brush each tilapia fillet with olive oil, then press each fillet into the almond mixture, coating both sides evenly.
  4. Place the coated fillets on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the almonds are golden brown and the tilapia is cooked through.
  5. Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
